Res Fortes Chaotic Chardonnay 2023

The latest wine from Res Fortes; Res Fortes Chaotic Chardonnay, is uncomplicated and unpretentious...just refreshing and versatile. 

The Chaotic Chardonnay grapes are destemmed, pressed, and cold-settled for 24 hours. Once cold settling is complete, the Chardonnay is racked and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Temperature slowly increases towards the end of fermentation to bring out as much flavour and aromas as possible. After fermenting has finished, the wine is racked off lees and aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling. 

This is 100% unoaked chardonnay, which shows aromas of lemon zest and green apple alongside tropical and stone fruit notes of pineapple and white peaches. The palate is dry, clean, and pure, with a lingering crisp minerality on the finish.

The Chaotic Chardonnay is versatile but perfect with fish, salads, sushi, and light cheese.
