10-year-old vines on the east-facing slopes along the river Maine. Vineyard with grass cover. Trellising and deleafing of vines. Destemming, crushing and traditional maceration for 15 days in vats. Extraction by pumping over at the start of fermentation. Blending of free-run and press wine. Aged six months, partly in oak. This wine has aromas of raspberry and morello cherry with a hint of vanilla. It is rich with a smooth, creamy texture and very supple tannins. Pairs well with red or white meats, fish, spicy cuisine, cheese.
