Domaine Laurent & Karen Boussey is a quintessential family estate with a history spanning five generations. Based in the charming village of Monthelie, Laurent and Karen took the reins in 2003, combining their deep-rooted passion with modern expertise.

Today, they manage 15 hectares across 24 different appellations, maintaining a steadfast commitment to traditional, sustainable viticulture.

Their approach is hands-on and meticulous, from manual pruning and disbudding to careful stripping of the leaves to ensure optimal grape maturity. In the cellar, their white wines undergo a gentle pressing followed by low-temperature fermentation to preserve the delicate fruit and "sensual delight" that defines the great whites of Burgundy.

The Wine: Les Petits Grands Champs 2023

The "Les Petits Grands Champs" parcel is a hidden gem within Puligny-Montrachet. This 2023 vintage captures the essence of this world-renowned terroir, known for producing wines with assertive personalities and high reputations.

Colour: A beautiful, bright pale yellow with gold-stitched highlights and subtle greenish reflections, a visual promise of the freshness within.

Aroma: The bouquet is complex and floral, opening with notes of acacia and hawthorn. As it breathes, it reveals classic Puligny characteristics of fresh hazelnut, almond paste, and a refreshing touch of lemongrass.

Taste: On the palate, the wine is a harmonious blend of body and finesse. It offers a soft, enveloping texture balanced by a vibrant, distinguished acidity. Expect flavours of pippin apple and fresh citrus, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish that lingers beautifully.

Food Pairing

A wine of this stature deserves to be paired with equally noble ingredients. Its sharp yet flexible balance makes it a perfect partner for:

Seafood: Grilled lobster, king prawns, or pan-seared scallops.
Poultry & Veal: Roast chicken with a buttery herb crust or veal in a delicate white sauce.
Gourmet Starters: Foie gras or a rich mushroom risotto.
Cheese: Mature Comté or a creamy Brillat-Savarin.
