Domaine Catherine & Didier Tripoz – Mâcon-Charnay Clos des Tournons 2024

Located in Charnay-lès-Mâcon at the southern tip of the Mâconnais, Domaine Tripoz is a family-run estate covering about 13 hectares under the care of Catherine and Didier Tripoz. With vines aged between 20 and 65 years, and a shift towards organic viticulture since 2018, they work with limestone and clay soils to express clean, vibrant Chardonnay. 

Their “Clos des Tournons” parcel lies on historic plots within Mâcon-Charnay and captures fresh orchard fruit, crisp minerality and a lively, balanced structure. In the 2024 vintage you’ll discover aromas of green apple and lemon zest, rounded by a subtle honeyed note and polished by fine acidity. 

This wine offers a refined alternative to higher-priced Burgundy whites and is a brilliant example of southern Burgundy Chardonnay, ideal as an aperitif or with grilled white fish, creamy risotto or soft Comté cheese.
