Pernand-Vergelesses “Les Boutières” has a clear straw- yellow robe. The nose is open on aromas of fresh apricots, flowers and gingerbread. The mouth is complex, rich and round with a long finish on light toasted bread flavours.
The whole grape is pressed and left to settle for around 24 hours. The juice is fermented in barrels (of which 30% are new barrels). The wine is left to mature on the lees for a period of 10 months. Bottling without fining, just a filtration on plates
Whilst the Barraud family has no more than 13 ha under vines they enjoy great recognition by their many lovers and are considered among the top 5 growers within the AOP
